Rat Invasion

So it would seem; every day we get the same question "are rats more active this year than ever before". Unlike other pests that seem to only present problems on a seasonal bases Spring, Summer or Fall. Rats are active and a problem year round. Their breeding cycle is so rapid that its no wonder they live and thrive everywhere. Rats are literally all around us, for the most part they are mostly nocturnal and go unnoticed. But if you could see what lurks in the shadows of the night, all you might see is rats everywhere. But for most, as long as they are outside no one seems to be bothered by them much. yet as long as they keep populating outside, its just a matter of time before they find their way into structures. Rats are smart and quite nimble, all they need is the right opportunity and a small entry point. Once inside, sometimes they can be hard to eradicate. The only effective way to keep from getting invaded by these unwanted rodents is to implement a proper rodent control system on your structure

I think we've had rats in our walls for years, though I haven't heard any rustling lately. I hope they're not in the air vents or something. When I close the door to my room for extended hours sometimes it gets really stuffy and smelly in there. I hope that's just my own body odor and not the rats'.

For your sake let's kinda hope it is your BO.
Because if that odor is coming from rodent urine and feces, then most likely you have or have had a serious rodent infestation.
I suggest you contact a local pest control company to try and determine if the odor is or isn't rodent related.
Any hoot.... Good luck...
